WCPS Advanced Programs--Family Survey
The WCPS Advanced Programs survey is designed to elicit feedback from all families with students who were enrolled in any WCPS Advanced Program during the 2012-2013 school year. Information will be used to review and revise program communication and delivery. In order to clearly disseminate useful information to each school and its specific program(s), we ask that you complete a survey for each child who was enrolled in an advanced program. Click here to participate by July 5, 2013.

College and Career ReadinessThe term “college and career readiness” refers to the knowledge and skills high school graduates must possess in order to be successful in their career paths after high school. New research indicates that the mathematics and English skills required for entry level college classes are the same as the skills needed for good jobs.
Success in the 21st century workforce requires education and/or training beyond high school graduation. This post-secondary education can come in many forms – a four-year university, a community college, a technical or vocational school, or a formal apprenticeship – all of which can prepare students for a career. Washington County Public Schools offers many programs for building college and career readiness. The resources and information on these pages are designed to help students and parents navigate the many paths to a rewarding career. |
